The Spanish Lifesaving Youth Summer Championship, which will take place in Laxe (A Coruña/La Coruña), is one of the competitions valued by the national coach, José Miguel Rodríguez Ferrero, to make up the youth team that will represent Spain in the Lifesaving European Championship per National Teams.
After the celebration of this competition, which will take place at Laxe Beach between July 18 and 20, will be made public the provisional announcement of the beach concentration scheduled between August 9 and 14 in Barrika, Bizkaia/Vizcaya , prior to the Castellón European Championship that will be held from September 12 to 18.
The lifeguards participating in the Barrika concentration will compete in the Ocean Perf, a open water competition held in France.
The XXXIII Spanish Youth Championship will exceed the participation registered in the edition prior to the health crisis, that of 2019, where 403 lifeguards met in Zarautz/Zarauz , having registered 432 athletes in the two categories. 2012/7/17
