The provisional programme of the Lifesaving European Championship by Nations Youth and Open has been published
The media accreditation procedure for the competition to be held in Castellón de la Plana has also been opened
The Lifesaving European Championship Youth and Open by Nations, which will be held between September 12th and 18th in Castellón de la Plana, already has a provisional programme of its events, which will begin with the simulated emergency rescue competition (SERC), in the open category in the morning and the youth category in the afternoon of the opening day.
The complete programme is available on the Championship website, lec21.rfess.es, both in its Spanish and English version, where the media accreditation request section has also been opened, by means of a form that can be filled in directly on the website.

The competition is divided into two sections. The first will be held at the Municipal Olympic Pool, which will host, after the two SERC events, which are direct finals, the qualifying heats of the pool events in the morning sessions and the finals in the afternoon sessions between Monday 13th and Wednesday 15th.
Between Thursday 16th and Saturday 18th, the Gurugú Beach will be the venue for the ocean events, which will begin with the youth women’s flags and end with the men’s ocean relay.
The Lifesaving European Championship Youth and Open by Nations is the first call for national teams after the peak of the Covid-19, the only one until the World Championship scheduled for 23 September to 9 October next year in Riccione (Italy), and one of the qualifying competitions for the World Games, which will be held in Birmingham (USA) between 7 and 17 July 2022.
In this way, for more than a week Castellón de la Plana will become the world focus of attraction for lifesaving and will project its image not only through social networks and the media, but also through the broadcasting that the Royal Spanish Lifesaving Federation will make through the OTT system, which facilitates the distribution of the signal to televisions, websites and mobile devices in high definition. 2021/8/3
